How long have Domain Transfers Taken for you?

Second attempt at doing a domain transfer from NaneCheap to Resell.biz. Does it take a full seven days to complete a domain transfer? I've asked both services if there was anything else I needed to do but was told everything is ok.

I have transferred domains from Bluehost, and GoDaddy in under 24 hours. But I don't know what the norm is. If it's an EIG company, I would expect them to provide you the worst possible service.
