HostSlick - Network upgrade and FREE Upgrades to Unmetered Traffic

Following a massive Network upgrade we just completed we are now changing our Bandwidth Plans
To grow into multiple Tbit/s in external transit capacity, we are also going to instruduce changes for dedicated servers.

HostSlick's new Core consist of Juniper MX960-PREM3 with 2+1 redundancy and large line cards able to hold numerous 100G Ports. Plus a pair of Arista Switches currently. Everything is upgradeable on the fly, we have alot space to add more line cards. If we require line cards with
400G ports, we can add them. Our old core has been a Cisco Catalyst 6509.

With this change and also the growing demand of traffic in our network, we are also now changing the Bandwidth plans included.

1Gbit Servers: Unmetered Traffic included on all (No fair use limits)
10Gbit Servers: and above: multiple Badndwidth plans are being instructed.
Default included will start at 150TB or 1Gbit 95/5 included and can be booked as needed up to Unmetered.
Unmetered (dedicated!) will start from only 550€

Currently we deploy 200Gbit per Rack of capacity to our MX960 since our last new batch of servers we received.
More can be added as needed on the Racks. So we have big enough pipes to follow our goals.

Additionally, in 2025 we plan on offering Servers with 40Gbit Ports.

Before the upgrade, 1Gbit dedicated servers include 100TB Traffic. This is upgraded for free for any customers.

We think that the demand in traffic in the next years will grow even more.
In next years we think a 1Gbit port is what a 100mbit was arround 10-14 years ago. Just not enough anymore.

Im interested to hear what the community thinks about growing bandwidth demand. - And will 1Gbit ports be enough in like 5 years or more? Or you agree that 10Gbit should be a new standard?
