Its a good start, and nice to see you have a few active members already.
There is something ive read on a number of occasios on different forums, and thats when you start off a website with forums, its usually better to have a few categories with a wider range for what can be posted in there. The reason for having fewer categories is that when people do post it makes thos secions seem busier which in turn makes the site looks busier, then once you have more acive userss add an extra category here and there.
Although in saying that ive tried it both ways and never relly managed to get a forum above 200 members of which only about 30 were active.

Out of the 25 people who are registered, like 10 people post. The others are leechers, but some are pretty busy, i can understand that. Yes, i will hold some competitions, but every competition has it own negative things, posting will cause spam, referral competition, when the competition is over everybody will probably leave. So i'm open to good competition suggestions.
Well if your forum is well moderated and you make a firm point that spam will not be tollerated then you will be able to run a sucessful competition
I have seen many run in the past with out too much spam issues
And visa versa, I've seen that is. I sure don't recommend a posting competition at all. The place I used to mod considered having such a competition as well, but everyone agreed not to because of the spam. If you're having a small community, you might consider having a posting competition, but the bigger the community is, the harder it is to manage, trust me ^^.

Yeah lurkers, darn i always mix up "leechers" with "lurkers". Well, what would you do ?
Posting Competition, or an referral competition where the referred people must do at least 10 posts. What do you think? It's to prevent fake accounts..
