  • ASP is just as powerfull as PHP, it's not as common mainly because the software needed to run ASP is not free. As bimmercenter mentioned, it's backed by a major corperation (Microsoft) therefore commercial sites tend to use it more.

  • I'd recommend the Soyo Dragon motherboards. I've got the Ultra Black edition with an AMD XP2200 and I love it.

  • is it possible to *finish* learning a language? :) I've used ASP and have become quite profecient in it, if anybody needs help with it I'm here. It's quite an easy and fun scipting language to learn.
