I don't use phpBB a lot but those that do, Perhaps you could make a list of all its features and whats good and bad.
Then Martian can keep/improve the good bits but change the bad bits...
I agree with Dan because I'm in the same year as Py and I know how everything piles on.
He has done well to just update trhe site as he has.

I do believe invision is no longer free, but when It was I felt it was allways superior to phpBB.
Mainly because I just prefered how everything worked...
Also, many people told me phpBB used way more bandwidth and memory...
