News International is just an arm of News Corporation, the owners of MySpace and Fox.
They already publish many news papers over here including The Sun and The News of the World (both of which are like many other NC products... Pretty bad), so this …

IF the OS is designed for it.
Windows relies on the right click menu quite a bit, and you'd need to bind a key for right click functionality when used with the mouse.
OS X isn't as reliant on right clicking, though the same features still …
You're getting there.
Adding searching to a site isn't really a biggie, but it can be a good thing anyway.
Keywords shouldn't be repeated and shouldn't be too long.
Boosting ratings by misusing keywords is what got BMW kicked out of Google's search…

The main point of Linux.com (not the official Linux site by the way, as there isn't one) is to be used in conjunction with an RSS feed reader so that users can get access to the latest Linux related articles without the hassle of obfusticated menu s…
Pop-up's, pop-under's, poor use of colour, bad Javascript \ DHTML \ AJAX and poor use of English for site content.

Yeah, but the problem there is that Python owns the domain for that, and it's not in the league of, say Radiant CMS or Typo as of yet (two very fine systems... Typo is more of a blogging system like (dare I plug something that might have died?) Bird…
Yes, these are running on a blog \ CMS system of mine.
I don't currently have the hosting for it and it's still being worked on, but at the moment, it allows me to use it for building basic sites.
It's currently known as CMS Object (though Python o…
Usually, you'd use something called observers, if you can, that is.
Basically, when you're using key presses, things can get a bit confused when the typist is going too fast for the script to manage.
In Rails, which is using Prototype and script.acu…
Yes, the filter is flawed.
It's looking for words inside other words, which is why it keeps doing stuff like that.
Because it wouldn't work overly well if it were to just censor words with a space before them and there's no allowed words system to c…
Yes, it works, but you might want to fine tune the update timing as it seems to break down if you type the name in too fast, meaning no message is shown.
If you type slow enough, it works again, but some people are pretty quick, and I was only using…
Yeah, I've been a bit frewaked when asked to do jobs in the past.
My basic way of doing things is to ask them what they are looking for and roughly what they want to pay for it.
That way, I know around what fee I can ask for.
I don't tend to do comm…

Hello, I am posting this using a 27" HD ready (running my 360 in 1080i :D) LCD TV that's widescreen.

Lets face it, if he can't make a decent amount from that, there's something wrong.

I don't see much point unless you're making a site to be used through a mobile phone, and even then, most sites use site.com/mobile or mobile.site.com instead to save costs.
I'm betting most of those who have already bought into .mobi own those anno…
I'm not saying it can't be hacked or that it can't get viruses as there's already "proof of concept" viruses out there and nothing is bullet proof.
What I'm saying is that the Linux community is much better at handling viruses and hacking …
Unix is more secure, but everything can be hacked if you know how.
The fact that even Linux has firewalls and virus scanners shows this, and without such things running, I wouldn't be surprised to see a Mac get hacked.
Would I be correct in assumin…

The only issue I have with this is that it could lead to the same problems Python had when he offered domain names in a similar promotion.
People will just spam to get their count up and expect to still get a domain from it.
$450,000 is just insane for any domain name, especially one that's not connected to some massively popular site (I'd suspect that myspace.com and such would sell for much more than that if they were to go on sale).
In order to make that back, the ne…
