i'd think purchasing traffic using adword would be one of the most decent that you would get - of course there is still click fraud but i think google's program is one of the most decent (if not the most decent) ones out the ...
unfortunately although everyone knows otherwise, they still place lots of emphasis on toolbar pr when purchasing sites or text links... so i guess it still matters to have a high toolbar pr :)

as far as web hosting is concerned, i believe linux has more marketshare for hosting sites for the public. however, for commercial sites and intranets, windows and unix would have a bigger marketshare...
looks cool - i just saw a site this your being auctioned in sitepoint - last i checked, the bid was at $2000 - but it's got some good traffic. when your site is established, you could get the same??? :)
