I would strongly advise against going for a free or cheap VPS. Remember, in the long run, cheap is always way more expensive.

10GB for free doesn't sound like a bad deal at all. This is most definitely worth a shot.

I have found Wix to be quite helpful especially if you don't have a strong design background. The user interface is quite intuitive and the templates look super professional.

Thanks for pointing out the bit about avoiding GoDaddy. Going by experience I'd very much advise the same too.
