Do you have any specific request or suggestion for what you think should be on the new Dev Dreams site? For example are there any extra features which you think should be added (e.g. tutorials, articles, scripts, templates etc).

you could like link dev dreams and xtream coders so make dev dreams just a forum but have buttons at the top like tutorials and such which like to xtremecoders and then on xtremecoders have the site with a forum link that links to dev dreams

im sorry but that is one thing which im deffinately not going to do...

On one of my other, older sites I had a gaming forum with 120+ members and quite a few were active. Some of them suggested that the site should be removed and the forum left and when i done it it all died down and the site was basically over...

The site gets way more traffic than this forum so it would be kind of dumb to close the site down and just have a forum...

any other ideas?

You should make links from the main site to the forum a lot more prominent.

The site really needs to be finished.

yes the new version will be fully completed before it is launched...

Ive got the design done. Im just coding tutorial, articles and scripts section... The new version will be more PHP based with the database as its data storage...not html files.

And yes the forum wil be more involved with the site for example with the tutorials and articles there will be the otpion to discuss them in the forum...also the membership system will hopefully be integrated into the site more

im thinking of a way which i can add a comments system into the tutorials/articles of the site which is run via the forum...still planning that though and am not sure if ill go ahead with it
