GMAIL trash being emptied?

In GMAIL in the trash folder it says:

Note: Trashed messages more than 30 days old will be automatically deleted.

Well for some reaosn ive got over 440 emails in my trash which havent been deleted even though a load of them are older than 30 days....

Anyone else got this problem?

i have deleted messagews b4 and my trash box is empty so no i aint havin no probs wit it

select all then delete you should do with ur gmail now.

ahh perhaps its just me then...i delete about 30 emails per day so im probably just adding to it and its just keeping level, lol

Taking into account al my email accounts I get over 200 emails a day...
