Worst Christmas Ever
I'm hoping I just dreamt all of the last few days and Christmas it yet to come.
But Since Mary Poppins is on the Radio Times would suggest it is Boxing Day... Therefore I'm either still dreaming typing this... or It was real and it was sh*t.
I wanted a thing called a GP32 (google it) which is not a handheld console... more like a HandHeld computer... You can install Linux or windows on it which enables you to type stuff and all the basic stuff you can do on a regular computer.
And as it happens, like a regular computer, there are some games produced for it. You can also download emulators and roms like you can on a normal computer.
This beast of a machine is'nt in the UK shops at the moment, but you can buy (all above board and 100% safe) it online for less than £120.
Now, if you aint going "W-O-W" then your not a teenage guy or your a freak.
I had my heart set on this. I agev a list of stuff I wanted to my parents:
• Brand New Top of the range Apple imac G5
• Brand New Top of the range Apple Powerbook
• BMW Z8
• Mercedes SLR McLaren
• GP32
• about 4 PS2 games
• about 6 books.
I was pretty sure I would either get say 3 books and then either all the PS2 Games (total about £150) or the GP32 (£115) and maybe a bigger Smart Card for it (£35).
I had also expressed an interest in a new mobile (I have a 3310 or something crap like that.).
Maybe something with all the bits... Camera, MP3 Player... The whole She-Bang.
My Borther didnt say what he wanted but a month ago, my dad offered him his old phone which was hardly old... Had all the gizmos, minus the MP3 Player. My Brother has never expressed an intrest in an MP3 player... So the only reason I can see that he would turn down dads old phone would be that he was happy with the more basic one he already had.
This is what we got.
Me:
• A new TV. Maybe 1 inch bigger... flat screen now... and it has teletext!!!!
• A DVD/TV Combo.
• One PS2 Game
• 3/4 Books.
Borther:
• Fancy phone with all the gizmos Including MP3 player.
•Some books... DVD's etc.
A Joint present: Dart Board.
Now.
The TV has slightly improved my picture.
I ahve no use for the DVD since my PS2 plays DVD's.
Unless of course someone else wants to play my PS2 while I watch a DVD.... Then they will ahve to unplug the PS2, lug it around and then replug it in...
As I already said. My brother didnt even want a new fancy phone.
The one Game I got was Killzone. And it aint half as good as I expected. What you have to do is very very unclear.
If I ever complete it it will be with the most detailed Walkthrough you ever seen.
So basically. All I got was sp,e books and a Dart Board which is only half mine.
Oh. I also got a whole sh*t load of taunting from my brother...
he keeps saying stuff like. Oh wow. Listen to the quality of these MP3's.
Hes a c**t and this is officially the worst christmas ever.

ohh sounds like you had a bad christmas...well im sorry for ya...perhaps everyone here at devdreams could chip in $10 and well all buy you what you wanted
CBG sorry but there are people who probably got much less tha that and were much happier, i think you should think about things like that before you moan, you could have also said to your parents you dont really want anything this year except whatever you wanted.

Thats exactly what a "Friend" was just telling me and I would tell you the same thing I told him. Only I cant coz Python's blocked it.
