DS v. PSP v. The World!

I got a pretty nice deal on a DS last week on ebay.
Comes with a GBA Mario Kart game and a GBA Need for Speed: Porsche something... + loads of features
I also bought a 64 DS.
Total Price: £170.
Not bad considering its apparently gonna be £150 for just the console when it arrives here (UK) officially.

The DS is amazing because it has 2 screens, one of which is touch screen.
The gameplay is great! I cant wait till it arrives.

But then there is the PSP. A portably Entertainment device....

Plus any other good hanhelds you know of...

    Nintendo does have experience in handhelds obviously, but they also had more experience in home consoles and that didnt seem to help them much.

    The nintendo DS looks good as does the PSP but i mean take some other cosoles from the two companey's

    Nintendo 64 -> Ps1
    Gamecube -> Ps2

    The two consoles from nintendo aren't even in the same league. They might have caught up a little bit with the two hand held consoles to come out but i don't think enough. I'm sure uve seen the relese of the PSP in Japan it was crazy people jusmmpin all over the place puchin and racin to try and get to the front to buy as many as the possible could. :D

    In my opinion the N64 was a legend of a machine. Far better than the PS1.
    I mean... Mario 64 or Crash Bandicoot? What a joke!

    I'll admit the PS2 beat the GC, I have a PS2 not a GC... but trust me, the GC is still a very nice machine which has a lot of good games. It was beat because everyone misread it. I cannot count the number of people who seem to think it only has kiddy games on it... Well that just ain't true.

    And the number of times other handhelds have tried to contend with the GameBoy and failed miserably is over 10.
    I would say the PSP stands a chance but personally I would choose the DS if I could have only one because It looks better, Dual Screens, Touch Screen and because I just wanna play Mario. :)
    Oh. and also, you can play last gen. games on the DS... I sare say you could on the PSP if there was a previous gen. :P
