if i were you i would get rid of the phpbb logo and change the color scheme

i agree with both of them comments, it also looks way too busy but that could be because of the colour scheme

3. i prefer a 2 column layout - it's too cluttered as it is...

You definitely got to change the logo (much said already).
Inverted colour makes reading a pain after a while. go for neutral colours.

its way too basic, and the phpbb logo sucks!
