I like vB the best but it's not free like phpBB so when I install a forum I go for the freebie. It's still a good forum software.

Another big thing for me is that phpBB does not support images in the signature and so people who use phpbb cannot use my dynamic forum signatures

phpbb is ace and free, not as good as vB but its still really good. I am thinking of moding phpbb so that users can hae images in there signatures

I do believe invision is no longer free, but when It was I felt it was allways superior to phpBB.
Mainly because I just prefered how everything worked...
Also, many people told me phpBB used way more bandwidth and memory...

angrylizard, i think at 1 time you were planning on doing forum software wernt you? did you ever get round to it?

i like vb the most but out of the free 1s i prefer phpbb
