Mod rewrite && IPB

I have started to Mod Rewrite my new forum DevForums but when i do it it messes it up here is the proper one

http://www.devforums.co.uk/index.php?showforum=6

But with the Modrewrite thing being used it messes up like this.

http://www.devforums.co.uk/showforum/6.html

Any one know why?

that looks correct to me... its taking a dynamic url like http://www.devforums.co.uk/index.php?showforum=6 and replacing it with a static url like http://www.devforums.co.uk/showforum/6.html

P, click the links, on the rewritten link, the images won't load...

He's got ir ^^ . Ye the images wont load so its shifting stuff around

ahhh yeah i see now...

to stop this edit the image paths so that they point to www.yourdomain.com/images/whatever.gif instead of /images/whatever.gif

this should stop it from moving...

or just use modrewrite to rewrite all your image paths too
