My PHP Forum Script

I am currently working on my own forum script in PHP. I dont plan on making it anywhere near as complex as vBulletin or phpBB but I do plan on making it have the basic features.

Because Im not expert with PHP I am still learning therefore it may take a while. I do not plan on releasing it as a script although if it turns out good and if people are interested then I may do so.

well probably yes... but not yet... cause its very unstable at the moment... I still gotta put a lot of it together...

and as of yet im not using any sort of template system.. i will only do that if, once compete there is actually interest in the script (exactly what phpbb done )

i would be interested possibly, i dont like how phpbb has loads of features half of which you dont need and probably never use

No offence to Python, but I recently found SMF, which is far better than phpBB...
I think I made a topic about it...

Well you aint evere gonna start a prooject and come out with sommat like vBulletin or any thin obviusly, But Py good luck with it and if mine eva comes to gether, (*Still waiting for the other coder to write the template class*) But maybe we could work together on V2 if both ours work

sounds cool

im actually now considering using a templating system right from the start.. it would save a lot of work in the future...

anyone know of any tutorials for templating systems?

e.g...

a page template could use things like <<TITLE>> and then that would be replaced with the title...
