Forum suggestions

As you might/might not know I am writing a forum script...

To try to get it as good as possible id like to know some things about what you look for in a good forum script. Therefore would some of you, as many as possible mind answering the following questions:

1) What additional features, as well as standard forum features would you like it to have (e.g. rewards system, downloads section, article section etc.)

2) I have created it using a templating system in PHP so that templates and styles are easy to change. Would you like to have the ability to edit the templates in an administration panel.

3) What type of templates/styles would you like?


I have decided that if it works out to be fairly good and if people are interested then I will release it as a script therefore the more ideas and suggestions I get... the better.

Also if you have any other suggestions let me know.

about the templates... What im doing is ive created one templates which will be the default one... will come as standard and then once the script is complete i will focus on creating more for it... because its using a php template engine swapping templates should in theory be fairly easy.

Good. Because when I install a forum, I just add categories and forums... then set up some themes...
So that needs to be easy.
