I have been looking around, but probably already need some guidance .. I have trouble connecting deamweaver to the mysql database ..

I have started somewhere like a half year ago on a study webdesign. Playing with HTML and dreamweaver I have also been going into PHP some. But I am a novice on that subject still. Searching for knowledge and learning this stuff..

Im not entirely sure what you mean. Do you mean you are trying to connect to your server through FTP or do you mean in coding terms that you want to connect to a database...
