Chat Room Needed - live

Im in need of a new chat room for this website and forum. It needs to be live and as interactive as possible.

Heres whats need and what you would earn.


1500 Forum Dollars
- Chat window to display typed messages
- List of members currently chatting
- Member name links to profile
- Text box to type in message
- Available to members only
- Logout Link to exit chat room

2500 Forum Dollars
- Chat window to display typed messages
- List of members currently chatting
- Member name links to profile
- Guests allowed to enter under a name of their choice
- Text box to type in message
- Logout Link to exit chat room
- Smilies List
- Admin Controls(example /kick to kick someone out, /clear to clear the current messages)
- Administrator username in different colour

4000 Forum Dollars
- Chat window to display typed messages
- List of members currently chatting
- Member name links to profile
- Guests allowed to enter under a name of their choice
- Text box to type in message
- Logout Link to exit chat room
- Smilies List
- Admin Controls(example /kick to kick someone out, /clear to clear the current messages)
- Administrator username in different colour
- Ability to have moderators which can kick chatters
- Ability to ban members from chat room(could use the forums ban system)
- Ability to ban IP addresses(could use the forums ban system)
- Link to administration panel for admins only
- Moderator username in different colour
- Mask swearwords(could use the forums Censor system)


Also if any of the following can be added aswell I well give you the rewards stated next to it.

- Ability for users to download typed message into a .txt file
- Preset commands(eg: /display=10 would display the last 10 forum posts). This should only be available for administrator and moderators
- Change text colour using Hex code/pallette


If I really like the result then I will infact pay up to 10000 forum dollars. The abive prices are base rewards and more could be given.

i didnt even know you had a chat room
how many people actually go on it?
cos i would have thought you have 120 members of which you have about 20 who come on daily i wouldnt have thought you quite needed a chat room yet

yeah to be honest i wouldnt really need one cause there would be hardly anyone on it but its good to have it ready.
i got an irc chat room at www.devdreams.com/chat.php but that doesnt get any people lol

Hey, for a 4 month old forum, you're already doing quite well - there are tons of webmaster forums out there. Give it some time...

yea, im not doing your stite down, i joined another site which strarted a month or 2 after yours the owner just put an add on a biggish website and there are still only about 60 members of which only about 5 actually post quite a bit and its generally the mods which i am on there but thinking of leaving unles it picks up

well im sure that then we can understand what and i think that you should get a chat room that doesnt make a stupid noise everytime it gets refreshed like the last one you had and i think that this paragraph is going to be rather hard to read without any of these

What about FlashChat? I use it on my forum.
Source code is provided with it, so I'm sure someone can make modifications as nessecary.

There are a few other chatrooms out there. Another one I used is ParaChat(google it). I liked it, also. It is available in hosted and owned versions.

FlashChat has a lovely interface and teaching the bots is just funny as hell
