Ive been thinking recently that its about time that the Dev Dreams website was actually sorted out. Because of this Ive been thinking of redesigning the site and making it much more user friendly.
What Im looking for is suggestions and ideas for the new design and what you think it should be like.
If you know of any examples of what type of design you think would be good please let me know the URL's. Or if you have a suggestion about colour schemes or overall layout/compatibility let me know.

I want to move away from the php-nuke lookalike designs but not make it look as if its a blog site. The problem is that ideally the site needs 3 columns because of all of the content which will be placed onto it.
The problem with the sites listed on that site you just gave me they are all very blog orientated and would not suit the type of site.
Im not an amazing designer so Im not entirely sure on how to do it.
If you have any suggestions let me know.

I just showed this to someone else and he thinks the original is better and that you just need to use a sans serif font...
I wouldn't actually be able to make it though, its only an image made in Fireworks...
And I was really just trying to show that you could have the most important sections of the verticle columns in rows across the top meaning you could then get away with only 1 coloum...
