Review: New DevDreams design

Tell me what you think of this design and whether you prefer it to the current one.

Also please suggest improvement where possible.

yeah I used tutoriazlied stuff as temporary content to make it look like it would if it was live...

I know it looks like the current version but it is supposed to.

It is basically just a rearranged version with some improvements...

Ive been told by a whole load of people that the site doesnt need a new design. It just needs reorganising and to only use 2 columns... Which is exactly what the above design does....

looks good p... but you should really change the font - times roman is not suitable at all...

also, i bet you dd will go way up in value... you're a rich kid p...

Someone on MSN suggested to me that the top navigation needs improving. Hes exact words were "Give it some style".

How Im going to do that I have no idea.

What font would you suggest? It needs to be a font which 99%+ people have installed on their computer.

the one with the smaller text looks better... and verdana is much better than times roman

change the buttons on top in my opinion... or the font but i don't like the buttons at the top.

Maybe its in the background... Use a 4 color glass gradient instead of the current 2 colors used now.

Or maybe make the text in the buttons engraved/embossed... Or make the text/buttons 3D (I think pillow or cusion 3d or whatever its called might be good.

the problem with doing that is that then the buttons would be images which sucks for search engines.

They need to stay as text
