Yes you can use images instead of colours.

That particular one looks really ugly but when they have been built up nicely then yes I like them.
I dont know how to create them but if I did yes I probably would use them

lol... sorry for the harsh comments cbg. Its probably just me because im not too keen on those sort of colour combinations.

Its good how its made and it works perfectly - I just dont like the look of it thats all.

Yeah, the colours were not my choice...
Plus it was one of my first, I could do better ones now.

I don't really like using them for my own personal projects, but if somebody else requested them (like a client) I wouldn't have a choice.
