How could I change a string to all lowercase?

By this I mean...

"DevDreams is a WebSite"

into...

"devdreams is a website"

I guess you could use an array for a replace scripts i.e replace A with a, B with b and so on

yeah I thought about that... But thats a lot of replacements... Surely theres gotta be a function that can be used...
