help with Marketing

I have been so confused on marketing. I am building a scrapbook website but am confused on marketing it. I also have web hosting and confrernce calling to advertise and I have no money. Is there any way for me to get started advertising? If there is can someone share with me how to get started?

Firstly let your friends and family know about the site and ask them if they would be willing to drop by and check it out.

Also try and get some quality link exchanges going with other related sites. This can really help for traffic, search engine ranking and general site exposure

Also sign up to forums and place your site in your signiture, make a few posts and a few people in that forum would notice your site.

Go to forums, there are all kinds of places to advertise. Write articles and post them, time is and isnt free but can't hurt.
