remote mysql db operation

i have a little script that works like a news script.

i want to create an admin.php page so that it would do deleting articles from the db.

i already did the adding part, i just need to know how the computer would know what to delete...im not sure what to do after displaying the articles in the db...

any ideas?

    no but i want to create a form where the user can select the one they want to delete, and then the selected ones will be deleted...
