Yeah, I have seen this before as I use the same stuff that's used in NP2 to get the highlighting and such working in my editor.
If you're after something similar, but with code folding and such, it might be a good idea to stick with the origional scite as that should be capable of showing off some of the more up to date features of the scintilla code editing system.
Notepad 2 is written in C++ if I'm not mistaken (Microsoft Visual Studio), so it wasn't of much use for me in terms of learning to do things, but it's still a good editor and scintilla is by far one of the best syntax highlighting components ever... and it's open source too!
PHP, CSS, XHTML, Delphi, Ruby on Rails & more. Current project: CMS Object. Most recent change: Theme support is up and running... So long as I use my theme resource loaders instead of that in the Rails plug-in. Release date: NEVER!!!
