Its 8 minutes past midnight right now and Im trying to use online banking... and the site is taking ages to load (been loading for 10 minutes still trying...).
I wonder if this is because around midnight payments are cleared etc so everyone tries to check to see if its there
I know its a random topic but anyone else experienced any down time or slow site responeses around midnight?
i dont think its anything to do with clearing payments as payments are cleared usually through chaps or bacs, the website wouldnt go slow because of that unless you have people cramming payments through just before midnight or just after midnight?
if its RBS or natwest let me know ill find out exactly why
