The New Tutorial Dash

As some of you may know I launched the website TutorialDash.com a little while ago. However due to my host dissapearing on me I lost all the files.

I have rebuilt the entire site from scratch and now its even better than it was before.

Im looking for two things...

> Comments and suggestions about the site
> People to register a free account and submit some tutorials

You dont have to submit any tutorials if you dont want to - But I am looking for as many submissions as possible to build up the tutorial index.

Yes Im open to category suggestions. The ones there cover main topics but I am looking to expand on them. If you want any particular categories for any tutorials you plan on submitting let me know.

ummmm how about Visual Basic & Microsoft SQL Server 2000?

Visual Basic Ill add in a bit. Not too sure about MS SQL Server... Not much of a demand for that. Maybe Ill add that when the site grows...

Looks good Python, I don't think I can come up with any tutorials right now.

the top frame thing says invalid tutorial but the tutorial comes up fine

Im aware of the "Invalid Tutorial" problem - I cant figure it out - I basically took the code from the old version for that part so really I need to code it again.

You should add a advance search feature (Seen as the title of the site is TutorialDASH) sounds like a site that would dash for tutorials ... Maybe change the sites so all you have is a search form and it will search through the masses of tutorials indexed in the database and bring back the 20 most relevent.

You could of course still have Latest tutorials on the homepage and have Top tutorials and so on

I have infact already coded the search

Just havent got round to fitting it into the site yet. Plus ive been looking over searching methods to find which are best.

another thing py, the external tutorials should open up in a new window/tab and the internal tutorials should be in a different section of your site. just a thought. kinda how pixel2life.com has set it up. say internal - utorials/view.php?whatever.
