what is the best way to do a galley. i dont want the one under fantastico cause its crap and it doesnt go with my theme.

there is no other way apart from hand coding it in html. but i moved it here cause i thought you would have the brains to know that the two options are hand code it or use a script

what is the best way to do a hand coded one is it by making tables.

yes. create a table and insert the images. but make thumbnails on the galery front and then when they click on it it goes to a larger version. also maybe include an author section beneath each image just in case of any copyright requirements

i would really go with a script though rally.
you'll regret not using one becuase it will take so long to make hand coded galleries.
i used to do it on my free hosting. you'll get sick of it
