how do i change a picture from a full size to thumbnail using html.

i have never come across this before so can you please give me a link to a tutorial or if its easy just tell me.

Either scale the image down in a graphics program or change the img tag like so:
If the original image size is 500 x 500 then put this as the thumbnail:
[code:1:f745b8008a]<img src="thelogo.gif" height="40" width="40" />[/code:1:f745b8008a]

although doing it like that using the html method the image could end up looking weird because the sizes may not be proportional...i suggest you resize the image in an image program

there are also alot of image thumbnailer programs out there i cant think of any at the moment ill post it here later when i figure it out

I use "easy thumbnails"... it's free and east to use. you point it to a directory and it just does it.
