I've recently started a the site DevFAQ. It's designed to make it easy for newbies to be able to find answers to commonly asked questions (for example, when someone wants to start a site and someone mentions 'HTML', they can come and check it out.). I've been having trouble thinking up questions to post answers to.

So if you have any questions, or know of one that you once had -- let me know. I want to make it a nice archive of FAQ's.

Ask everything from techniques, short how-to's, acronyms, explanations etc.

And of course, feel free to submit your own answers (just sign up at DevBoxForums and post in the 'DevFAQ' forum under 'General').

i use tables but i would like to try css and i know nothing about css. could someone write a tutorial on the basics of css

I just kinda learned CSS mostly on my own by looking at people's websites' CSS. But here's a good place I visit once in a while when I'm lost
It's got a great CSS reference, and has a tutorial on it.

Besides using that, you just need to know that most CSS-based designs are made with divs.
