News script in PHP

Okay i will be searching around for this soon, but first i though i better just check here to see if anyone knows where i can find it.

What i want is a PHP scripts on my site (my site will probably be built in HTML, but i will just chuck the php in there) so people can log in, and then on the main page post news. If you don't understand, i found one example of this at www.thepenguinconspiacy.com

So if anyone can help, i would much appreciate it.

so are you saying that you want registered members to be able to submit news. the best thing i can think of is a CMS. this stans for content management system. The main one around is PHP-Nuke. If youve got access to a MySQL databse on a php enabled host then i think this is the route to take. this will pretty much build your complete site and forums as one.

its better to go postnuke i think...
phpnuke is poorly designed in my opinion and unprofessional looking

ive never actually had much expeience with postnuke apart from 10 mins messing around so i wouldnt know

well when i finally got hosting i started off with postnuke then switched to phpnuke(about 5 times) until i eventually decided just to make my own site...
postnuke doesnt have a forum thats the main problem with postnuke...
