On one of my site www.gamingbedlam.com the PR used to be 4. but ever since ive taken away the site and added a temporary splash page the PR has dropped to a 3.
But hopefully when I get my new design up and running I will promote it as much as I can and get it back up

It's probabally because the links pages you were using are no longer there...
As a result, people you had exchanged links with have now removed them (some anyway)...
