Yes. I am looking for books to help me learn C++. It should start with the basics, but not treat the reader like a kid... I hate books that say things like: "Now, select the text using the cursur, then click Edit, then Copy, to copy it. Now go to the other window and click at the top, go to Edit and then Paste to paste it..." sheesh. lol.
Any tips or recommendations?

And when you get to a comfortable level with C++, then you just have to pick up The C++ Programming Language. It's a resource you won't want to live without (written by the creator of C++!). For a better idea of when you should be reading this book, read the user comments.
