As much as I think this domain is great, the buyer is paying way too much for it. The domain has not changed hands and the potential buyer has paid only the first $10,000 toward the name.
He is to make six monthly 10K payments, then pay a huge $2.8 million balloon payment after that. He can choose not to pay that balloon and walk away, forfeiting only the payments he will have made up to that point in time. Only in 6 months will we know if the deal went through but the buyer will still loose thousands if he backs out.
