What Do You Think of Internet Gambling?

In the U.S., there was an interesting segment on Sunday night on 60 Minutes about the huge internet gambling industry.

Internet gambling is causing a huge political split in the U.S. becauase one side believes it is inevitable while the other thinks it's too addictive.

You undobutly hear of the recent arrest of the Gambling Site Owner from the UK and the uproar that caused concerning whether the U.S. even had the jurisdiction to arrest him.

The UK is not subject to US gaming laws and they have overtaken the rest of the world as the #1 provider of internet gambling sites.

Young people have been shown to be more likely to loose money to internet gambling as they tend to be more impulsive and have less understanding of the value of money.

What do you think, should internet gambling be legal and why or why not?

Well, if gambling at a casino is legal, why shouldn't internet gambling be? Young people will find plenty of other ways to waste their money.
