My suspician is that the majority of us have at least one or two websites that are not profitable and we keep them alive for the pure love of the site itself.
Obviously, many sites are profitable but my guess is that a majority of the sites on the ineternet today are not profitable.
Do you keep any non-profitable sites alive because you love them? (I do) What percentage of the websites out there, if you had to guess, do you think are profitable?

Absolutely. What are your costs. As in, what is your time worth/hour and how much of your own time do you spend on your site? I'd say most of us are worth at least $20/hour if we spent our time working elsewhere.

Same here, the love for the site is what carries us on.
However I'm working towards changing that with Bryant's help

I have a few decent plans and should be able to get my monthly profit on the internet up to around $100 - $300 so that will be $3000 - $9000 a month and i could sell for $40,000 - $120,000 So im working very hard at the moment .

Haha i should really do some work so i can remove all the coming soon's
the rest of my sites are 'for fun' sites that i create and then try to sell outright or sell links on...
overall, not too bad... but if i depend on my sites for a living, i'd be eating grass...
