yea erm as the title says
i have a site which i have purely for uploading work i did at college, and will be doing when i start uni in september,
at the moment there isnt much on it apart from a few graphics 1 or 2 scripts and some animations which still need to be uploaded.

i have a google page rank of 4 which is ok considering its only been up for about a month and doesnt have much content,

please nothing other than SEO sites, graphic designs, hosting and student sites.

Preferably sites that offer services for free or VERY cheap then we get part of a student community

i know its a 0 dunno where i got 4 from
but i missed out on the last update by a about a week if that

how many sites are linking to you whos PR is higher than 0?

about 10-15 plus forum signatures
but only 2-3 are PR5 or 6

in that case you should go up to a 4 when the next update occurs

can you believe i just missed out on the last update and now its been the longest ever time before the next update

lmao. ye it sucks, i was hoping to get this site to a PR 6 but it didnt happen. maybe next time aye? Ive heard that getting to a six is really difficult

if you get quite a few 6's linking to you, you shouldnt be that far off and then maybe 1 or 2 7's which would be the hard bit that i would think should get you to a 6

well every sites starts there at some stage - as long as you do some good link exchanges and get a nice amount of links pointing to you it should go up

But as Tony pointed out, getting links when you're a zero is a pain... it's really a chicken and egg thing. At the moment, my strategy is trying to get listed in the beter directories. These guys do not bother about PR...

Well, my site will get atleast a pr4-5 next update as I have collected loads of links (lol) so I will help you out and give you a free link :-) off the site, becuase I know how hard it is when you only have pr0 no1 wants to trade :-(
