I have noticed that all the tutorials that I have came across on the Internet for PHP don't tell you if they are for PHP 4 or PHP 5. Now you would think this would be an important part of the tutorial? Especially when most tutorials seemed to be aimed at the "newbie" who probably doesn't have a clue if there has been any syntax changes etc, or am I just being overly fussy?

I have contacted a few tutorial site owners with either feedback or to report errors/missing steps etc to receive no reply or one filled with snotty comments, well apart from tutorialtastic.co.uk - they're extremely helpful

Partly because my code usually works in php4+...and I've never seen that done before, so I guess what I'm trying to say is apparently not too many people seem to care about it.

Im sure some sites get a lot of "Why isn't this working" and "Your tutorials SUCK!" because of not putting it there so they are getting errors after doing the tutorial.
