cheapest domain names?

does anyone know the cheapest place to buy a domain name?
.com .net .co.uk ? the cheapest i found was about £7-8 for 2 years which means about £3.50-4 per year

can anybody beat this?
no other domain names though just 1 of the above and preferably .net

You can get .coms and .nets for $6.99 at DomainSite.com
As for the .co.uk, should be able to get one for £3.50/year. (But you have to buy 2 years...)
Also, if the domain you choose is available in .com and .net, I would advise you get the.com as they ahve more value and mostr people put in .com's even if the site is a .net/whatever...
