Create Shutdown Button in Quicklaunch Bar or anywhere else, easy as 123...
1)Right click on your desktop and create New Shortcut.
2)In the location field, type the following exactly as shown: %windir%\system32\SHUTDOWN.exe -s -t 01
Click next and give it an obvious name
3)Now cosmetics. Right click on your new shortcut and select Properties, Change icon. I'm sure you can make up your own mind as to what icon you want displayed _
4)And you're done! But to make it a true one-click operation drag it onto your quicklaunch bar

I don't know, I used this at my training period at a school. They used Windows 98 over there, just for the compability with Autocad 2000, and users were not allowed to do anything else but Autocad and login on/off + shutting down.
Because of the "-t 01", the things you've done won't get saved (eh, when Windows shuts down, it saves stuff), this part won't happen when using such a button.
I don't know about that m8 =P
