logo help

im not really that great with graphics
i cant use photoshop as i got taught paint shop pro at college (tight arse college wouldnt fork out for good software) anyway
i need a logo for my site and was wondering if anyone could help?

i basically want something like i have now but better the font is arial/ariel however you spell it
if possible id like it made out of flash with the bottom bit like a water ripple effect so it look like the reflection is in water

if not just a static image would be great,

im thinking of teaching myself but last time i tried i got confused

flash is it. i know some basic flash stuff but i got no chance of doing a water ripple effect like you said. i might be able to find out how its done though - flashkit.com

ok ive sortof changed my design AGAIN

i was wondering if some people would try to make a logo for me that would fit in with the design
maximum size is 650wide by 100 high (pixels)
i dont want any text on it just the background of the logo as i have my own font i will add to it and im in the process of buying a domain which ive not totally decided on yet

so i dont want a flash logo now just a background that will fit in with my design at the momemnt

anyway i had a go at a logo not really what i wanted but its better than nothing at all i suppose

Yeah, that's not too bad... BTW, you really need to check the adsense TOS. Two have been violated on this page. They can get you for that.

ive just found an affiliate program but that only pays if the person buys things from the other site not just for clicks, but i signed up with a company thats based near me and is pretty cheap for computers, parts and accesories etc theyre the people who i bought the things to build my comp wih.

that sounds like im plugging them, suppose i am but not intentionally

Tony, affiliate programs are aplenty around. I would recommend you have a look at ClickBank (they're a payment gateway and their affiliate program is from member to member - it's really huge).

but the 1 i signed up with has lots of major companies like PC world the AA RAC barclays etc so i can guarentee they arnt going to be ripping me off or selling my information on, but ill give them a look cheers
