:PSP - Any Version
:Tube of your choice
:Font of your choice
I used the lovely artwork of
Suzanne Woolcott(Gorjuss) you will need a license from
AMI in order to use Suzanne's work.
-:1:-
Open a new canvas 500 x 500, copy and paste your tube as a new layer
In your layer palette duplicate your tube and move it around the canvas until you have covered the entire canvas
Hide the original layer (Raster 2) and merge the others visible (layers, merge, merge visible)
Move the original to the top (layers, arrange, send to the top).
On the merged layer, Adjust, Blur, Guassian Blur, radius set it to 10
-:2:-
Let's add a drop shadow to our top layer, activate your tube and add the following drop shadow
-:3:-
Let's resize this now, ready for the next step.
Image, Resize, as below
Repeat the resize again you should be left with a canvas that is 361 x 361 or there abouts
-:4:-
Let's change the canvas size now, Image, Canvas Size
Keep the height the same as the original
Change the width to 500
Set the image placement as middle left
-:5:-
Add a new raster layer, move to the very bottom (layers, arrange, send to bottom)
Flood fill with a dark color from your image I used #19191E
Activate your blur layer, selections, select all, float, defloat, modify, contract by 2 pixels
Selections, invert, press delete on your keyboard, selections, Invert. Do Not Deselect
Selections, Invert, now press delete on your keyboard a few times, so the blurred layer becomes faded at the edegs
Selections, None
This is what I have now
-:7:-
Add your artist copyright and your tagged by info as a new layer
-:8:-
Select a font, I used Salaryman, and choose a color from your image,
Create as vector checked, so we can stretch it out if needed
Objects, Align Center in canvas
Image, Rotate, 90degrees left
Position in the space on the right hand side, stretch out using the nodes if needed
Lower the opactiy to about 50
Add any embellishments you want and save as a .jpg or .gif file
