Fun Attitude

For this tutorial you will need:
:PSP (I used PSP X)
:Picture Frame Here - Please leave file name intact. Frame by Mz Kels visit her site Here
:FunHouse Filters
:Tube of your choice or the one I used Here - A Kattitude tube please visit her site Here
:Font of your choice

Install your plugins, Place your Picture Frame in your PSP Files, Picture Frame folder

Open a new blank canvas 450 x 450. Floofill with a gradient of your choice
Angle & Repeats set to 0
Invert checked
Style - Linear

Effects, plugins, Funhouse, Circus Maximus
Circles = 170

Effects, plugins, Funhouse, Emission Mirro
Wavelength = 212

-:4:-
Effects, plugins, Funhouse, Evanescence
Zoom = 232

Effects, plugins, Funhouse, Radical Mirror
Relections = 2

Effects, plugins, Funhouse, SpyroZag
Amplitude = 123

Image, Picture Frame, using the drop down menu find KelsFrame13, use the settings below

open your tube, if you are using the Kattitude tube this part will be easy, if you are using another tube slightly harder. If you are NOT using Kattitude tube provided:

Press shift & D to duplicate the tube, close the original for another day.
Hide the copyright layers by clicking the eye's on the layer palette

Grab your freehand selection tool settings as below

Draw a selection round part of your tube, I'm using for this part a grey tube from Artmam

Now choose a color from your background, I choose a bright yellow, but the color will depend on the gradient your choose at the start. Grab your Change To Target Brush, as below. I'm not sure where this is located in earlier versions of PSP, the shot below is for PSP X

Change To target Brush settings as below


:Step F:
Now paint the area you selelcted.

Selections, none

For those using the Kattitude tube:
:Step H:
Press shift & D to duplicate the tube, close the original for another day.
Hide the copyright layers by clicking the eye's on the layer palette

Activate the Red layer. Selections, Select All, Float, Defloat

Layers, duplicate. Working on your duplicate layer, do Steps D -G from above.

Delete the copyright layers from your tube.
Edit, Copy merged,
On your framed canvas, paste as a new layer

Layers, Arrange, move down. Making sure you are still on your tube layer, selections, select ll, float, defloat As you can see from below

The top part of my tube is hidden by the frame, so grab your eraser tool settings as below

Activate your frame layer and erase the bit selected at the top Below is a shot of it half erased, erase it all

Select your font tool, choose a font you like. I think with this tutorial any style of font will look good. Apply your etxt as a vector using the same color you used for Change Target earlier. Place the text in the box at the bottom of the frame

Apply a drop shadow to your text using these settings
Vertical = 0
Horizontal = 4
Opacity = 24
Blur = 5
Color = Black #000000
Repeat the drop shadow if needed

Apply the same drop shadow to your tube

Keeping your font tool, add your tagged by and copyright information. For Kattitude the copyright information is
?Kattitude and optional (depending on where your tag will be displayed) www.blahkitten.com

All done.........save as a jpeg. If you wish to animate your tag DO NOT SAVE AS A JPG. Save as a psp file.

Part Two Animating Your Tag

Part 2

For this part of the tutorial you will need:
:Animation Shop
:Your tag from Part 1, still in psp format

-:1:-
Activate your background layer and duplicate it twice so you have 3 background layers.

Rename them 1, 2 & 3 working from the top. Hide 2 & 3 and activate 1

Adjust, Add/Remove Noise, Add noise use these settings:

Hide, 1 and open/activate 2
Repeat Noise settings but change the noise to 30

Hide 2 and open/activate 3
Repeat noise settings but change the noise to 35

Hide 3 and open 1.
Activate your tube layer. Edit, Copy Merged.

Fire up Animation Shop (AS)
Edit, Paste as New Animation.

In PSP, Hide 1 and open 2. Edit, Copy Merged
In AS, Edit, Paste After Current Frame

In PSP, hide 2 an dopen 3, Edit, Copy Merged
In AS, Edit, Paste After Current Frame
