Keeping Incredimail Running Smooth

Empty your recycle bin
Close incredimail. Now right click on the little orange envelope in your taskbar and select Exit

Go to my computer,

Click on C: Drive

Click on Documents & Settings

Click on the file named after you, for me it's Spicey Wifey, yours may just be Owner

Click on Tools, then Folder Options
When the box pops up, click on View
Make sure Show hidden files & folders is checked

Now click on your Local Settings folder

Click on Application Data

Click on IM

Click on Runtime

Click on Letter

Click on Edit, then Select All,
Now press delete
Confirm delete, press yes

Now repeat step 12 for all the other folders within the runtime folder

Before empting your now full recycle bin, open incredimail and make sure it is running properly, if it's not, restore all the files in your recycle bin, it should be running OK though.
To keep incredimail running smoothly you should empty these folders, either weekly or monthly depending on the volume of mail you receive. I do mine weekly as I receive alot of mail.
