In essence, you can link your community/forum with Zoints. The individual members of this community can join Zoints via this community which gives this forum more external links. Then the members can network together with other members of Zoints. It's a good way to spread the word about this forum and for communities to network together.

Interesting Paul, I don't know much about Zoints so I'm very curious about it. Could you explain more why it feels like you'd be giving away a little bit of your forum?

I hope you don't mind me dropping in on you folks this way, but I work for Zoints and found this thread via Google. For those who aren't aware, we recently released Zoints Local (15 post url limit got me, but: network.zoints.com/showthread.php?t=2179 ) which is a highly configurable homepage, blogging, networking (and more) platform that is installed on your forum. In essense, you are able to turn your forum into a niche social network. Your own little MySpace? Nah. With our block system, you create blocks that are useful to your specific demgraphic so that the system becomes a value add to your type of community.
