well when you want to sell something in the auction there is the option to have it displayed in special ways. for example you can have it bold or you could have it shown in the special offers section. usually these would cost but with a coupon you can get them at a reduced price or even free.

No... If Python did give you "money off" in the auctions, he would pay the money you saved...
The same as when You get a money off voucher for game. You only pay £30 for a £40 game. Game has to pay the extra £10 to it's supplier out of it's own pocket...
(Although the supplier wouldn't charge £40 as then game would make no profit... lol)
