I don't like the top image. It doesn't match. It's a nice color scheme, though. Some humerous category descriptions. Nice.

I agree on the header comment by omoi. I'll also add that the header needs to be a little wider; possibly leaderboard size? I also agree with omoi on the "descriptions" comment. They are quite humorous, and because of that fact, I even "visitied" a few of the threads.
