upload a forum database

ive been messing around with this for 2 days now, i need to upload a mybb database.

MyBB being as it is alows you to backup your database not install it - for security reasons apparantly, so im trying to do it though mysql admin or whatever its called, but the file limit is about 3 times less than the database, the database is in gzip format so is as small as can be, can anyone help - or even better...do it for me as im realllllllly P'd off with it, i swear once ive converted it from mybb to smf i will never EVER look at mybb.

Have you tried copying the code from the file and putting it in the query form?

i have a better suggestion for you.

1. go to cpanel (your hosting admin panel)
2. go to backups
3. backup the single database you're interested in
4. go to your new hosting cpanel
5. go to backups
6. restore the backed up database

alternatively,
1. unzip the zipped file on your workstation
2. open it up using a text editor - notepad or wordpad
3. copy out chunks of it and paste it into the phpmyadmin interface to run against the database - you will need to copy out the relevant chunks though

hmm, i think ill just pay someone to do it, im no good with datbases as it is, this is a littl above my head

are they from the same version? This may be why there are missing DBs
