What size is your computers hard drive? If youve got more than one drive add them together.

For some reason I just realized it shows my harddrive as having 76.3 gb rather than 80. Actually, I think I may have 84..

Same here... but in total I should have 405 GB. But Everything is listed as slightly lower than it is...

4gig isnt slightly lower , is it an OEM version of the hard drive?
i built my computer 2 years ago and its just about starting to strain to use some programs so think its aout time i build a new 1 but my current hard drive is 40, which i havnt even filled half of...i dleeted my porn stash :P

I think its the saem as with a floppy. They say you can get 1.44MB on but you can never get more than 1.35MB...

the reason that you dont get 100% of the hard drive is because of things like logs and files which your not allowed to delete. for example a computer records some actions and it is stored in logs which cannot be deleted. so then if the police got hold of your computer they would know if youve done anything illegal

Well....
I forgot the actual ammount and it's hard to tell by looking at the info my comp gives me because as we said above it's all was a little less... But how much less? lol
Plus its in 3 partitions which doesn't help.

yeah ive got windows installed on my 10gb hadr drive. then i got all software and files stored on the 80gb split across 3 partitions.


the amount it takes off from your totaly hard drive depends on how many partitions i think

I've got one 80 and one 20. Going to replace the 20 with a 120 one of these days.
